Recombinant Human G-protein coupled receptor family C group 5 member D (GPRC5D)-VLPs (Active)

GPRC5D is an orphan receptor gaining significant attention as a therapeutic target in multiple myeloma, yet its seven-transmembrane topology makes producing conformationally intact protein exceptionally challenging. This full-length construct (aa 1–345) is presented on virus-like particles derived from mammalian cells, preserving the native lipid-bilayer context essential for proper GPCR folding and multi-pass membrane orientation. Functional ELISA confirms that immobilized GPRC5D-VLPs bind an anti-GPRC5D recombinant antibody with an EC₅₀ of 8.847–10.38 ng/mL, providing validated evidence of accessible, correctly folded extracellular epitopes suitable for therapeutic antibody screening, epitope mapping, and competitive blocking assays. With endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg, this preparation aligns with standards expected in sensitive binding characterization workflows such as SPR- or BLI-based affinity measurements, ligand-receptor interaction studies, and use as a positive control in antibody development campaigns targeting GPRC5D.
