Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%
Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of human IL-10 in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.

This ELISA kit provides quantitative measurement of interleukin-10 (IL-10) in human samples, supporting research into this critical anti-inflammatory cytokine's role in immune regulation and tolerance. Because IL-10 is often present at low picogram-level concentrations yet shifts meaningfully between health and disease, accurate quantification across diverse sample contexts is essential.
Detection Range: The 3.9–250 pg/ml range spans the concentrations typically observed in human serum and plasma under both baseline conditions (generally <5 pg/ml) and elevated states such as sepsis, chronic viral infection, or tumor microenvironment signaling, minimizing the need for extensive sample dilution in most experimental designs.
Sensitivity: At 0.975 pg/ml, the kit detects IL-10 in low-abundance conditions—including unstimulated PBMC supernatants, early-phase anti-inflammatory responses, and samples from healthy donors where circulating IL-10 often falls below 5 pg/ml.
Sample Compatibility: Validation across serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and cell culture supernatants enables researchers to correlate systemic IL-10 levels with local tissue immunosuppression and in vitro polarization assays within a single study framework.
Assay Efficiency: Requiring only 50–100 µl per well and 1–5 hours to complete, the kit accommodates limited clinical specimens and high-throughput screening of regulatory T-cell or macrophage polarization experiments.
This kit is well-suited for studies in autoimmune disease pathogenesis, tumor immune evasion, and transplant tolerance mechanisms.
