The SIRPA antibody is generated by immunizing rabbits with the peptide mapping within amino acids 31-373of the human SIRPA protein. It is a polyclonal antibody and occurs as a Biotin-conjugated IgG. This Biotin-conjugated SIRPA antibody can be used as a detection antibody in combination with HRP to amplify the signal for the measurement of the SIRPA protein in the ELISA analysis. Its purity is over 95% using protein G purified. It only reacts with human SIRPA. The target protein SIRPA is a membrane glycoprotein immunoreceptor rich in cells of monocyte lineage. SIRPA-CD47 ligation initiates a signaling cascade that leads to the suppression of phagocytosis.
