Buffer

If the delivery form is liquid, the default storage buffer is Tris/PBS-based buffer, 5%-50% glycerol. If the delivery form is lyophilized powder, the buffer before lyophilization is Tris/PBS-based buffer, 6% Trehalose.

Reconstitution

We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Storage Condition

Description

The Recombinant Human Claudin-3 (CLDN3) is a full-length, research-grade protein designed to enable comprehensive investigations into human CLDN3 function within signal transduction pathways. Generated via an in vitro E. coli expression system, this recombinant CLDN3 spans amino acids 1–220aa of full-length human CLDN3, with a molecular weight of 24 kDa and an N-terminal 10xHis-tag for efficient purification and detection. Its purity, greater than 85% as determined by (Tris-Glycine gel) discontinuous SDS-PAGE (reduced) with 5% enrichment gel and 15% separation gel, ensures reliable performance in applications such as structural biology, antibody validation, and functional assays (prior pre-experiment verification). As a full-length protein, it preserves the complete structural and functional domains of human CLDN3, offering a more physiologically relevant model for studying its biological roles compared to truncated variants. CLDN3 is located in the Williams-Beuren syndrome (WBS) critical region. WBS results from a hemizygous deletion of several genes on chromosome 7q11.23, thought to arise as a consequence of unequal crossing over between highly homologous low-copy repeat sequences flanking the deleted region.
