To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of human MIP-3β in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay. | ||||||||||||

The ELISA Kit is designed for quantitatively measuring human MIP-3β levels in samples, including serum, plasma, or tissue homogenates. It uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique in combination with the enzyme-substrate chromogenic reaction to quantify the analyte in the sample. The color develops positively to the amount of MIP-3β in samples. The color intensity is measured at 450 nm via a microplate reader.
MIP-3β, also called CCL19, CCL19 is produced primarily by stromal cells in the thymus and by the T cell area of secondary lymphoid tissues. It is a critical regulator of the induction of T cell activation, immune tolerance, and inflammatory responses during continuous immune surveillance, homeostasis, and development. CCL19 and its receptor CCR7 play an essential role in organizing immunological and inflammatory responses. CCL19-CCR7 axis also exerts pathogenic roles in some viral infection conditions, such as infections by HIV-1, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), influenza virus, and hepatitis B virus (HBV) and plays a role in vaccine-based protection against multiple viruses, such as HIV-1, HSV-1, and HSV-2.
