Assay Principle quantitative
Measurement Sandwich
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%
Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of human NLRP3 in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.

Q&A and Customer Reviews

Can you please provide the following information about this kit:
a. Capture antibody
b. Detection antibody
c. Standard
d. Please send the manual
f. I would like to test NLRP in saliva specimens. Please send us your in-house data for such samples, if you’ve ever tested them.

Thanks for your inquiry.
Capture antibody is mouse monoclonal antibody.
Detection antibody is goat polyclonal antibody.
Standard is 293 cell-derived recombinant protein.
I will send you the manual by e-mail.
If you want to detect saliva sample, advice to arrange preliminary experiment.
We tested normal serum before and the test value is ND-1.25ng/ml. For some serum samples the test value is very high.
It can be detected out in human peripheral blood cell culture supernatant. The dilution factor and test value depend on the culture condition.
Pls let me know if you have any further questions. Thank you.

Target Data

Function As the sensor component of the NLRP3 inflammasome, plays a crucial role in innate immunity and inflammation. In response to pathogens and other damage-associated signals, initiates the formation of the inflammasome polymeric complex, made of NLRP3, PYCARD and CASP1 (and possibly CASP4 and CASP5). Recruitment of proCASP1 to the inflammasome promotes its activation and CASP1-catalyzed IL1B and IL18 maturation and secretion in the extracellular milieu. Activation of NLRP3 inflammasome is also required for HMGB1 secretion
Involvement in disease Familial cold autoinflammatory syndrome 1 (FCAS1); Muckle-Wells syndrome (MWS); Chronic infantile neurologic cutaneous and articular syndrome (CINCA)
Subcellular Location Cytoplasm, cytosol, Inflammasome, Endoplasmic reticulum, Secreted, Nucleus
Protein Families NLRP family
Tissue Specificity Predominantly expressed in macrophages. Also expressed in dendritic cells, B- and T-cells (at protein level) (PubMed:11786556) (PubMed:17164409). Expressed in LPS-treated granulocytes, but not in resting cells (at protein level) (PubMed:17164409). Express
