Reconstitution

We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Storage Condition

Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for mutiple use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Description

LYPD3, a GPI-anchored protein implicated in tumor cell migration and metastasis, presents a challenging target due to its dependence on native glycosylation and disulfide bond formation for proper folding. This full-length mature protein (aa 31–326) demonstrates robust antibody-binding activity with an EC50 of 2.375–2.905 ng/mL in functional ELISA, confirming that the mammalian expression system preserves the conformational epitopes required for immunological recognition. The quantified binding kinetics support its use in antibody screening campaigns, epitope mapping studies, and as a positive control in LYPD3-targeted immunoassays. Purity exceeding 95% by SDS-PAGE and endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg align with standards expected in cell-based migration assays and in vivo metastasis models where low endotoxin is critical to avoid confounding inflammatory responses.
