LYPD3

Lypd3, also known as Ly6/PLAUR domain-containing protein 3, is a protein-encoding gene. It is sometimes referred to as GPI-anchored Ly6 protein D3. This protein plays a crucial role in cell - signaling. It interacts with receptors to regulate cell adhesion and migration, and is involved in the Wnt signaling pathway.
Abnormal expression of Lypd3 is linked to various diseases, especially certain types of cancers. In cancer cells, it may promote tumor growth and metastasis. Currently, research is underway to develop drugs that target Lypd3, aiming to block its function and thus provide new treatment options for related diseases.
