Reconstitution

We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Description

CD45 orchestrates T-cell and B-cell activation by dephosphorylating Src family kinases, making its extracellular domain a critical target for therapeutic antibody development and immune modulation studies. This mammalian-expressed fragment spanning residues 26–577 captures the membrane-proximal extracellular region with native glycosylation patterns that preserve conformational epitopes, as demonstrated by its binding to an anti-PTPRC recombinant antibody with an EC50 of 25.15–29.54 ng/mL in functional ELISA. The quantified binding affinity supports use in competitive inhibition assays for blocking antibody screening, therapeutic antibody epitope mapping, and ligand-receptor interaction studies by surface plasmon resonance or biolayer interferometry. With purity exceeding 95% by SDS-PAGE and endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg, this protein meets the quality thresholds commonly required for antibody validation workflows and serves as a positive control in binding assays where reproducible receptor presentation is essential.

Protein tyrosine-protein phosphatase required for T-cell activation through the antigen receptor. Acts as a positive regulator of T-cell coactivation upon binding to DPP4. The first PTPase domain has enzymatic activity, while the second one seems to affect the substrate specificity of the first one. Upon T-cell activation, recruits and dephosphorylates SKAP1 and FYN. Dephosphorylates LYN, and thereby modulates LYN activity.; (Microbial infection) Acts as a receptor for human cytomegalovirus protein UL11 and mediates binding of UL11 to T-cells, leading to reduced induction of tyrosine phosphorylation of multiple signaling proteins upon T-cell receptor stimulation and impaired T-cell proliferation.
