This Recombinant Human Claudin-3 (CLDN3) is a biologically active, full-length research reagent optimized for advancing signal transduction and immunology studies of human CLDN3. Synthesized in a mammalian cell expression system, this full-length protein spans amino acids 1–220aa of human CLDN3, with a molecular weight of 25 kDa and a C-terminal 10xHis-tag (detectable only under denaturing conditions) to support purification and detection workflows. Review: Claudin-3 (CLDN3) is a member of the Claudin family of tight junction proteins and plays an important role in forming intercellular tight junctions. The abnormal expression of the CLDN3 protein is closely related to the occurrence and development of various malignant tumors, making it one of the hot targets in current research. The Claudin-3 is a four times transmembrane protein. The full-length recombinant human CLDN3 protein expressed by CUSABIO through its VLP platform has good activity. I used the CSB-MP005505HU product for an ELISA experiment, and the EC50 was measured to be 3.157-5.258 ng/ml, which can be used for my subsequent experimental research, and the results have been promising. The protein is stable with good repeatability, so I will continue to purchase in the future.

If a virus was used or not and what kind?
The purification method we usually use is Ultracentrifugation + affinity purification.
VLPs (Virus Like Particles) are nanoscale particles formed by the automatic assembly of one or more capsid proteins of enveloped viruses. VLP particles do not contain viral nucleic acid, cannot replicate autonomously, are highly safe, and have an overall structure similar to virus particles.
