AMHR2

Anti-Müllerian hormone receptor type 2 (AMHR2), also known as Müllerian inhibiting substance receptor type II (MISRII), is a transmembrane serine/threonine kinase receptor belonging to the TGF-β superfamily. It mediates signaling of anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) through phosphorylation of Smad1/5/8 proteins, which regulate transcriptional responses controlling Müllerian duct regression during male fetal development. The AMH/AMHR2 axis primarily operates via the TGF-β/Smad signaling pathway, with cross-talk involving MAPK and PI3K-Akt pathways. Mutations in AMHR2 cause persistent Müllerian duct syndrome, characterized by retained female reproductive structures in genotypically male individuals. Aberrant AMHR2 expression is observed in ovarian granulosa cell tumors and certain gynecological cancers. Recent therapeutic strategies target AMHR2 using monoclonal antibodies (e.g., GT-90138) and chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapies, with several candidates in preclinical evaluation for ovarian and endometrial cancers. A Phase I trial (NCT03277368) investigated AMHR2-targeted immunotherapy for advanced solid tumors.

Immunofluorescence staining of HepG2 cells with CSB-PA614985ESR1HU at 1:100, counter-stained with DAPI. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde, permeabilized using 0.2% Triton X-100 and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4°C. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor 488-congugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L).
