Its structure includes an N-terminal signal peptide, an extracellular domain composed of approximately 660 amino acids, and a C-terminal transmembrane and intracellular region. Under normal circumstances, APP is enzymatically cleaved through non-amyloidogenic pathways to produce metabolites with physiological functions. However, abnormal metabolic pathways may lead to the accumulation of β-amyloid, a major pathological feature of Alzheimer's disease. The signaling pathway of APP involves the participation of various enzymes, including α-, β-, and γ-secretases. The activity and regulation of these enzymes are crucial for the generation and clearance of APP metabolites. Immunofluorescence staining of Hela Cells with CSB-RA994273A0HU at 1:50, counter-stained with DAPI. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde, permeated by 0.2% TritonX-100, and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4℃. Nuclear DNA was labeled in blue with DAPI. The secondary antibody was FITC-conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L).
