Description
CASP9 polyclonal antibody CSB-PA001235 was produced in the rabbit immunized by using the Synthesized peptide derived from Human Caspase-9 around the non-phosphorylation site of T125 as the immunogen. The target protein CASP9, a member of the cysteine-aspartic acid protease (caspase) family, is involved in the activation cascade of caspases responsible for apoptosis execution. Binding of caspase-9 to Apaf-1 leads to activation of the protease which then cleaves and activates caspase-3. Diseases associated with CASP9 include Thoracic Cancer and Ischemia.
This CASP9 Polyclonal antibody was tested in the WB, IHC, IF and ELISA applications. The non-conjugated IgG was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. It reacts with the CASP9 proteins of human or mouse or rat-origin and may be used to detect the endogenous levels of CASP9 protein.
