Reconstitution

We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Description

ROR1 is a receptor tyrosine kinase-like orphan receptor implicated in cancer cell survival and migration, making it a priority target for therapeutic antibody development and small-molecule inhibitor discovery. This biotinylated extracellular domain fragment (residues 30–403) produced in mammalian cells demonstrates quantifiable binding to an anti-ROR1 antibody with an EC50 of 21.01–24.28 ng/mL in functional ELISA, confirming conformational integrity suitable for ligand-binding assays, competitive inhibition screens, and therapeutic antibody epitope mapping. The site-specific biotinylation via C-terminal Avi-tag enables oriented immobilization in surface plasmon resonance and biolayer interferometry experiments for affinity characterization and blocking antibody validation, while mammalian expression supports native glycosylation patterns critical for physiologically relevant receptor-ligand interactions.
