Reconstitution

We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Description

IL-17A drives proinflammatory signaling through NF-κB and MAPK pathways, making it a critical tool for dissecting Th17-mediated immune responses. This tag-free recombinant human IL-17A encompasses the full mature sequence (aa 24–155) and demonstrates potent bioactivity with an ED50 of 1–7 ng/mL in IL-6 secretion assays using NIH-3T3 fibroblasts, confirming its suitability for cell-based functional studies including downstream signaling activation and inflammatory gene induction. Endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg eliminate LPS-driven artifacts, supporting use in sensitive immune cell assays, in vivo inflammation models, and antibody development workflows such as ELISA standard curves or blocking antibody screening. Purity exceeding 95% by SDS-PAGE, combined with this stringent endotoxin control, provides a suitable basis for reference standard applications in cytokine detection platforms.
