PPP1R15A

PPP1R15A, full name protein phosphatase 1 regulatory subunit 15A, also known as GADD34. It is a regulatory subunit of protein phosphatase 1, regulating cellular stress response, protein phosphorylation and apoptosis. Abnormal PPP1R15A overexpression causes stress response disorders, correlating with neurodegenerative diseases and cancers, promoting tumor drug resistance. PPP1R15A inhibitors are under preclinical research.
