Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.

Storage Condition

Description

ERBB3 (HER3) plays a critical role in heterodimeric signaling with other ErbB family members, and its extracellular domain is a key target for therapeutic antibody development and ligand-interaction studies. This recombinant human ERBB3 construct spans the extracellular region (aa 20–643) with a C-terminal hFc1 tag, and its production in mammalian cells supports native-like glycosylation and conformational integrity essential for accurate ligand-binding results. Functional ELISA confirms that immobilized NRG1 binds this protein with an EC50 of 12.32–15.74 ng/ml, providing a validated basis for receptor-ligand interaction assays, competitive inhibition studies, blocking antibody screening, and therapeutic antibody epitope mapping by SPR or BLI. Purity exceeding 95% by SDS-PAGE combined with endotoxin levels below 1.0 EU/μg satisfies the quality criteria typical for cell-based drug discovery assays and small-molecule or biologic inhibitor screening campaigns.

Applications : Binding assay/Protein-protein interaction

Review: I used CSB-MP007765HU product for a functional ELISA experiment, EC50 was 18.24-23.66 ng/ml, and the protein had complete biological activity. Subsequently, this product was used for affinity experiments, and its affinity activity was very good, and it has been successfully applied for clinical application. CUSABIO products have short delivery times, the price is favorable, and I will purchase large quantities in the future!

Tyrosine-protein kinase that plays an essential role as cell surface receptor for neuregulins. Binds to neuregulin-1 (NRG1) and is activated by it; ligand-binding increases phosphorylation on tyrosine residues and promotes its association with the p85 subunit of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase. May also be activated by CSPG5. Involved in the regulation of myeloid cell differentiation.
