ATP13A1, also known as ATPase type 13A1, is a protein encoded by the ATP13A1 gene. It is also commonly referred to as PARK9. This protein belongs to the P5 - type ATPase family and is hypothesized to function as a transmembrane transporter. It might be involved in the trafficking of metal ions across the cell membrane.
ATP13A1 is associated with Kufor - Rakeb syndrome, a rare neurodegenerative disorder. Regarding signaling pathways, it may interact with pathways related to cellular stress response and autophagy. Currently, research on targeted drug development for ATP13A1 is in its early stages, aiming to modulate its activity for potential treatment of related diseases.
The following ATP13A1 reagents supplied by CUSABIO are manufactured under a strict quality control system. Multiple applications have been validated and solid technical support is offered.
