ADGRL2

ADGRL2, also known as adhesion G protein-coupled receptor L2, is a protein belonging to the latrophilin subfamily of G-protein coupled receptors. It plays a role in the regulation of exocytosis and is involved in endothelial barrier function. ADGRL2 interacts with endothelial NO synthase (eNOS) to enhance its activity, thereby increasing NO bioavailability and protecting against endothelial dysfunction. This protein is associated with various signaling pathways, including those related to oxidative stress and inflammation. ADGRL2 mutations have been linked to diseases such as sepsis and septic shock.
