BTN3A1, butyrophilin subfamily 3 member A1, alias BTF5, BT3.1, CD277, BTN3.1, is encoded by the human BTN3A1 gene, which is located on chromosome 6 in the p22.2 region.
The mechanism of action of BTN3A1 involves interactions with γδ T-cells, and is involved in the modulation of their activation and function, and is particularly important in the initiation phase of immune regulation. BTN3A1 exhibits revolutionary potential in cell adhesion, antigen presentation and immune cell activation, especially in the regulation of γδ T cell activation, where it interacts with γδ T cells and influences the recognition and response of immune cells, thus affecting the memory and persistent response of the immune system. BTN3A1 provides a new target for tumor immunotherapy.

Immunofluorescence staining of Hela cell with CSB-PA002873LA01HU at 1:20, counter-stained with DAPI. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4C. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor 488-congugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L).
Immunofluorescence staining of Hela cell with 5% goat serum, counter-stained with DAPI.
Immunofluorescence staining of SH-SY5Y cell with CSB-PA002873LA01HU at 1:20, counter-stained with DAPI.
