CCDC6 is a protein with a coiled-coil domain, whose specific three-dimensional structure has not been fully elucidated. However, it is known to contain multiple conserved amino acid sequences and specific functional regions. Functionally, CCDC6 participates in the regulation of cell growth, proliferation, and apoptosis, exerting its biological effects by interacting with other proteins to form complexes. Its biological role is particularly important, closely related to the occurrence and development of various diseases, especially cancer. Studies have found that abnormal expression of CCDC6 is associated with the progression of various cancers such as thyroid cancer and lung cancer, and it may also be linked to other diseases such as neurodegenerative diseases and cardiovascular diseases. Therefore, CCDC6 has become an important target in biological and medical research, which is significant for deeply understanding the mechanisms of cell regulation and the molecular mechanisms of disease occurrence and development.

IHC image of CSB-PA623068LA01HU diluted at 1:500 and staining in paraffin-embedded human prostate cancer performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a biotinylated secondary antibody and visualized using an HRP conjugated SP system.

Immunofluorescence staining of MCF-7 cells with CSB-PA623068LA01HU at 1:166, counter-stained with DAPI. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde, permeabilized using 0.2% Triton X-100 and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4°C. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor 488-congugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L).
