CNRIP1, Cannabinoid Receptor 1 Interacting Protein 1, alias Cannabinoid Receptor Interacting Protein 1, Synembryn, etc. CNRIP1 is an intracellular protein expressed in a variety of tissues and encoded by genes within human cells themselves.The mechanism of action of CNRIP1 involves interaction with cannabinoid receptor 1 (CB1), which affects the intracellular transport and surface expression of CB1.CNRIP1 regulates CB1 receptor stability and signaling by interacting with the C-terminus of the CB1 receptor and promoting ubiquitination and proteasomal degradation of the CB1 receptor. In addition, CNRIP1 is also involved in the regulation of other signaling pathways, such as the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway.

The biological significance of CNRIP1 is mainly reflected in its role in the regulation of nervous system function.
