GPR65

GPR65, also known as TDAG8, is a proton-sensing G protein-coupled receptor. It detects extracellular pH changes and regulates immune responses. GPR65 is involved in the cAMP signaling pathway, where its activation can lead to alterations in intracellular cAMP levels, influencing cell function and behavior.
This receptor has been linked to various diseases, including inflammatory bowel disease and asthma, as it modulates immune cell activation and migration. In drug development, researchers are exploring small - molecule modulators of GPR65 to target these diseases. Such drugs could potentially regulate immune responses and provide new treatment strategies.
