STEAP1B

STEAP1B, full name six transmembrane epithelial antigen of prostate 1B. It is a prostate-specific transmembrane protein regulating metal ion transport and cellular redox homeostasis.
STEAP1B is highly and specifically expressed in prostate cancer, driving tumor progression. Antibody-drug conjugates and CAR-T targeting STEAP1B are under preclinical development.
