AEBP2

AEBP2, also known as Fat Cell Enhancer Binding Protein 2 and Adipocyte enhancer-binding protein 2, enhances the histone methylation activity of PRC2 by interacting with the Polycomb-inhibiting complex 2 (PRC2). AEBP2 plays a crucial role in gene silencing and epigenetic modification, participating in the regulation of cell differentiation, development, and gene expression. AEBP2 is associated with various diseases, including Hirschsprungs disease and Waardenburg syndrome, and it also has significant roles in the migration and development of neural crest cells.
