CLDN7

CLDN7, or tight junction protein 7, is a protein encoded by the CLDN7 gene and part of the tight junction protein family. It is expressed in epithelial and endothelial cells and is involved in forming tight junctions, regulating paracellular permeability and ion selectivity, and maintaining cell polarity and tissue integrity. CLDN7 dysfunction is associated with diseases like inflammatory bowel disease and tumor development, with its expression levels in tumors correlating with invasion and prognosis, marking it as a potential target for cancer therapy.

IHC image of CSB-MA963136 diluted at 1:100 and staining in paraffin-embedded human endometrial cancer performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a Goat anti-mouse IgG polymer labeled by HRP and visualized using 0.05% DAB.
