The gene CLEC14A encodes a protein known as C-type lectin domain-containing protein 14A. Also referred to as CLEC14A, this protein plays a crucial role in regulating angiogenesis and bone formation. It functions by interacting with other molecules to modulate cellular processes, particularly those related to the immune system and vascular development. CLEC14A is involved in various signaling pathways, including those related to angiogenesis and bone remodeling. Its dysregulation is associated with several diseases, such as cancer and osteoporosis. In terms of drug development, there is ongoing research into antibody-drug conjugates targeting CLEC14A for the treatment of solid tumors, leveraging its specific expression in tumor endothelial cells.
CLEC14A Antibody (CSB-PA801222LA01HU)
Validated Data
IHC image of CSB-PA801222LA01HU diluted at 1:400 and staining in paraffin-embedded human small intestine tissue performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a biotinylated secondary antibody and visualized using an HRP conjugated SP system.
The following CLEC14A reagents supplied by CUSABIO are manufactured under a strict quality control system. Multiple applications have been validated and solid technical support is offered.
