Chemokine receptor 7 (CXCRT7) is an important member of the CXCR superfamily of chemokine receptors. It was originally isolated from a canine thyroid DNA library, consisted of a 362 amino acid sequence, and was named RDC1. RDC1 was subsequently renamed CXCR7 by chemokine receptor nomenclature. CXCR7 is a non-canonical chemokine receptor, its structure and function are different from the classical chemokine receptor. CXCRT7 can be expressed in a variety of normal tissues, such as heart, brain, spleen, kidney, lung, Duwan and thyroid.
Chemokines CXCL12 and CXCL11 are ligands for CXCR7. The combination of CXCR7 and CXCL12 can participate in the regulation of a variety of normal physiological processes, including immune system regulation, stem cell homing, fetal development, angiogenesis and chemotaxis. In the immune system, CXCRT7 can promote the maturation and survival of B cells, promote the development and differentiation of B cells into plasma cells, and finally induce the transformation of B cells into antibody-secreting cells. In bone marrow, CXCR7 is mainly expressed by lymphocytes and granulocytes, and mediates the chemotactic movement of T lymphocytes. In embryonic development, CXCR7 can promote the vascularization of embryos, accelerate the growth of embryonic liver, and promote the development and perfection of the hematopoietic system.
The following CXCR7 reagents supplied by CUSABIO are manufactured under a strict quality control system. Multiple applications have been validated and solid technical support is offered.
