FAM210A (Family with sequence similarity 210 member A), also referred to as C22orf32 or mitoregulin, is a mitochondrial inner membrane protein critical for maintaining mitochondrial proteostasis and energy metabolism. It interacts with mitochondrial ribosomal proteins to regulate the synthesis of electron transport chain (ETC) components, particularly influencing cytochrome c oxidase (COX) assembly.
