KARS1

KARS1, also known as Lysyl - tRNA synthetase 1, is a key protein. It attaches lysine to its cognate tRNA, ensuring accurate translation of genetic information during protein synthesis. This process is part of the translational machinery signal pathway. Dysfunction of KARS1 is associated with Charcot - Marie - Tooth disease, a group of inherited neurological disorders.
