L3T4, also known as the CD4 molecule, is a crucial receptor on the surface of T lymphocytes that plays a pivotal role in T cell development, activation, and immune response. Structurally, L3T4 consists of an extracellular region, a transmembrane region, and an intracellular region, allowing it to specifically bind to major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class II molecules, which is crucial for T cells to recognize antigens. In terms of signaling pathways, when L3T4 binds to MHC class II molecules, it triggers the activation of a series of signaling pathways, including tyrosine kinase pathways, phospholipase C pathways, and calcium ion pathways. These activated pathways promote T cell proliferation, differentiation, and effector function. Functionally, L3T4 not only participates in T cell recognition of "self" and "non-self" but also plays a crucial role in the differentiation of T cells into helper T cells (Th cells) and regulates the intensity and direction of immune responses to maintain immune balance in the body.

IHC image of CSB-RA004935A0HU diluted at 1:100 and staining in paraffin-embedded human lymph node tissue performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4℃ overnight. The primary is detected by a biotinylated secondary antibody and visualized using an HRP conjugated SP system.
