NOTCH1

NOTCH1 encodes a protein known as Notch homolog 1, a single-pass transmembrane receptor with common aliases like TAN1. This protein plays a crucial role in cell fate determination, proliferation, and apoptosis. It functions through a proteolytic cleavage mechanism, releasing the Notch intracellular domain that translocates to the nucleus and activates target genes. The Notch signaling pathway is highly conserved and is involved in multiple cellular processes.

IHC image of CSB-RA599445A0HU diluted at 1:100 and staining in paraffin-embedded human brain tissue performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT.
