QSOX1, also known as Quiescin Q6 sulfhydryl oxidase 1, is a member of the sulfhydryl oxidase family. It is also commonly referred to as Q6. This protein functions by catalyzing the oxidation of cysteine residues to form disulfide bonds. It is involved in the endoplasmic reticulum-associated degradation pathway and the unfolded protein response.
Abnormal expression of QSOX1 has been linked to various diseases, such as certain types of cancers. In cancer, it may promote tumor growth and metastasis. Regarding drug development, there are ongoing research efforts to target QSOX1 for potential cancer therapies, aiming to inhibit its activity and disrupt the pathways it participates in.

After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT.
