REXO2

REXO2, also known as RNA exonuclease 2, is a ribonuclease protein. It participates in RNA processing and degradation. Functionally, REXO2 degrades RNA in a 3'-5' direction, maintaining cellular RNA homeostasis. It is involved in the mRNA surveillance pathway, ensuring the quality of gene - expression products.
