SMARCAL1

SMARCAL1, also known as SNF2-related chromatin remodeling annealing helicase 1, is a DNA translocase that plays a crucial role in DNA replication and repair. It functions by reattaching the two strands of DNA's double helix, allowing replication to proceed. SMARCAL1 is involved in the DNA damage response and chromatin regulation, maintaining genome stability and controlling gene expression. It interacts with various signaling pathways, including the cGAS-STING pathway and PD-L1 regulation, and is associated with diseases such as Schimke immune-osseous dysplasia and cancer. IHC image of CSB-PA885774LA01HU diluted at 1:100 and staining in paraffin-embedded human brain tissue performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a Goat anti-rabbit polymer IgG labeled by HRP and visualized using 0.05% DAB. Secondary antibody only control: uses 1% BSA instead of primary antibody
