STK17B

STK17B, also known as DRAK2 (DAPK-related apoptosis-inducing protein kinase 2), is a serine/threonine kinase involved in various cellular processes, including apoptosis, cell differentiation, and immune responses. It promotes carcinogenesis and metastasis via AKT/GSK-3beta/Snail signaling in hepatocellular carcinoma. STK17B is dysregulated in several cancers, such as breast cancer, lung cancer, and melanoma, and its expression is often associated with poor prognosis. Research into STK17B inhibitors has shown promising results in preclinical studies, targeting specific kinases crucial for cellular processes and potentially offering novel therapeutic approaches for cancer treatment.

IHC image of CSB-PA022838LA01HU diluted at 1:300 and staining in paraffin-embedded human lymph node tissue performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a biotinylated secondary antibody and visualized using an HRP conjugated SP system.
