TASL, full name TLR-associated signaling ligand TASL. It is an immune adaptor protein expressed in innate immune cells, regulating interferon production and anti-pathogen immune defense responses.
Abnormal TASL activation triggers autoimmune inflammation, while deficiency impairs anti-infection immunity. TASL-targeted inhibitors are under preclinical research for autoimmune and infectious diseases.
