XPO1, or Chromosome Region Maintenance 1 Protein, also known as Exportin 1, is a protein that plays a key role in the nuclear export process of cells. It transports cargoes containing nuclear export signals, such as certain RNAs and proteins, from the nucleus to the cytoplasm of the cell by recognizing and binding to them.XPO1 is derived from the cell's own gene code, and it plays an important role in cell division, regulation of gene expression, and cell signaling. Its mechanism of action involves interactions with Ran GTPase proteins, as well as binding and release of cargo proteins to achieve directional transport of substances.
XPO1 has a wide range of biological significance, and it is involved in the regulation of a variety of intracellular signaling pathways, including, but not limited to, the p53 signaling pathway, the NF-κB signaling pathway, and so on, which are closely related to the growth, differentiation, apoptosis, and response to external stimuli, and response to external stimuli.Abnormal function of XPO1 is associated with a variety of diseases, especially in cancer, where XPO1 overexpression is associated with tumor invasiveness, metastasis, and chemoresistance. Therefore, XPO1 has become an important target for anticancer drug development. By inhibiting the activity of XPO1, the nuclear export of tumor-associated proteins can be blocked, which in turn affects the growth and survival of tumor cells.

IHC image of CSB-RA930964A0HU diluted at 1:100 and staining in paraffin-embedded human ovarian tissue performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4℃ overnight. The primary is detected by a Goat anti-rabbit IgG polymer labeled by HRP and visualized using 0.05% DAB.
