BTNL2

BTNL2, full name B7 family-related protein-like 2. It is an immune regulatory protein regulating immune cell activation and inflammatory balance, maintaining immune homeostasis in human body. Dysregulated BTNL2 causes immune imbalance, leading to autoimmune diseases and chronic inflammation. It also participates in tumor immune microenvironment regulation. BTNL2 modulators are under preclinical research.
