CCNK, full name cyclin-dependent kinase regulatory subunit K, also known as cyclin K. It is a cell cycle regulatory protein regulating cell cycle progression, gene transcription and DNA damage repair. Abnormal CCNK overexpression accelerates cell cycle and promotes tumor proliferation, drug resistance in multiple cancers. CCNK inhibitors are under preclinical research for anti-tumor therapy.
