CNDP2

CNDP2, also known as carnosine dipeptidase 2, is a protein involved in the hydrolysis of the CG dipeptide. Its full name is cytosol nonspecific dipeptidase 2. CNDP2 plays a role in protecting cells under oxidative stress by modulating intracellular levels of free cysteine.
