DGAT2

Diacylglycerol O - acyltransferase 2 (DGAT2), also known as acyl - CoA:diacylglycerol acyltransferase 2, is an important enzyme in lipid metabolism. It catalyzes the final step of triglyceride synthesis, converting diacylglycerol and fatty acyl - CoA into triglycerides. DGAT2 is involved in multiple signal pathways related to lipid homeostasis and energy balance, such as the insulin signaling pathway.
Aberrant expression of DGAT2 is associated with various diseases, including obesity, non - alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), and diabetes. Due to its potential as a drug target, there are ongoing research efforts to develop DGAT2 inhibitors. These inhibitors may offer new treatment options for lipid - related disorders.

IHC image of CSB-PA850407LA01HU diluted at 1:50 and staining in paraffin-embedded human breast cancer performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a Goat anti-rabbit polymer IgG labeled by HRP and visualized using 0.05% DAB. Secondary antibody only control: uses 1% BSA instead of primary antibody
