EZH2

EZH2, recognized as the enhancer of zeste homolog 2, is a histone methyltransferase encoded by the EZH2 gene and a key component of the PRC2 (polycomb repressive complex 2) complex. This enzyme plays a role in gene silencing through the methylation of histone H3 at lysine 27, a modification that can lead to the repression of gene expression. EZH2 influences critical biological processes such as cell proliferation, differentiation, development, and the onset of cancer. An overabundance of EZH2 is linked to an unfavorable prognosis in certain cancers, including lymphomas and epithelial tumors, underscoring its significance as a potential target for therapeutic intervention in cancer treatment

IHC image of CSB-RA218051A0HU diluted at 1:100 and staining in paraffin-embedded human colon cancer performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4℃ overnight. The primary is detected by a Goat anti-rabbit IgG polymer labeled by HRP and visualized using 0.05% DAB.
