IL20RB

Interleukin-20 receptor beta (IL20RB), also known as cytokine receptor family 2 member B (CRF2-B), is a transmembrane subunit of heterodimeric receptors for IL-19, IL-20, and IL-24. It pairs with IL20RA (for IL-19/IL-20) or IL10RB (for IL-24), activating JAK1/TYK2-STAT3 and MAPK pathways to modulate epithelial cell proliferation, differentiation, and inflammatory responses.
Dysregulation of IL20RB-mediated signaling links to psoriasis (driving keratinocyte hyperproliferation) and rheumatoid arthritis. Drug candidates, including anti-IL20RB antibodies and ligand inhibitors like fezakinumab, are under development for psoriasis, aiming to suppress pathogenic inflammatory cascades associated with these conditions.
