NKD1

The protein encoded by NKD1 is Naked Cuticle Homolog 1, commonly referred to as NKD1. It functions as an antagonist in the Wnt signaling pathway by interacting with Dishevelled proteins, thereby inhibiting β-catenin-mediated transcriptional activation.
Dysregulation of NKD1 has been linked to various cancers, including colorectal and breast cancer, where its downregulation may contribute to tumorigenesis. Limited drug研发进展 targeting NKD1 is currently reported, though its role in Wnt pathway modulation highlights potential therapeutic implications in Wnt-driven malignancies.

Immunofluorescence staining of HepG2 cells with CSB-PA853369LA01HU at 1:200, counter-stained with DAPI. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde, permeabilized using 0.2% Triton X-100 and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4°C. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor 488-congugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L).
