PVR

The protein encoded by the PVR gene, also known as poliovirus receptor, is a transmembrane glycoprotein. It is commonly referred to as CD155 and has been implicated in various cellular processes, including cell adhesion, migration, and immune regulation. PVR interacts with immune cell receptors such as DNAM-1, TIGIT, and CD96, influencing immune cell activation or inhibition. This protein is overexpressed in several human malignancies, where it promotes tumor cell invasion, migration, and proliferation. The PVR pathway is involved in tumor immunosuppression and is a target for anti-tumor therapies, including checkpoint inhibitors and adoptive cell therapies. Research into PVR as a therapeutic target has led to the development of novel drugs and immunotherapies.

IHC image of CSB-RA567944A0HU diluted at 1:50 and staining in paraffin-embedded human lung cancer performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a Goat anti-rabbit polymer IgG labeled by HRP and visualized using 0.42% DAB.
