RRAGA

RRAGA, Ras-related GTP-binding protein A, alias FIP1, RAGA, FIP-1. RRAGA is encoded by the human RRAGA gene, which is located on chromosome 9 at position p22.1.
RRAGA is a G-protein with GTP-binding activity that forms heterodimeric Rag complexes with RagC/RRAGC or RagD/RRAGD and plays a role in the cellular response to amino acid starvation and in the positive regulation of TORC1 signaling. RRAGA is active in the lysosome and nucleus through co-localization with the GATOR1 complex and is involved in the regulation of the mTORC1 signaling pathway.
RRAGA plays important roles in cell growth, metabolism, and disease, particularly in amino acid sensing and mTORC1 signaling. Abnormal expression or dysfunction of RRAGA has been associated with a variety of disorders, including neoplasms and metabolic diseases.
