AIMP2

AIMP2, also known as aminoacyl tRNA synthetase complex-interacting multifunctional protein 2, is an essential component of the multi - aminoacyl - tRNA synthetase complex. Common aliases include p38. It plays a key role in protein synthesis by catalyzing the ligation of amino acids to their cognate tRNAs. It is also involved in various cellular processes through its interaction with other proteins.
