CREG1, short for cellular repressor of E1A-stimulated genes 1, is also known as C1orf106. This protein participates in diverse cellular processes. It inhibits cell cycle progression by modulating the activity of the E2F family of transcription factors. Moreover, CREG1 is involved in the TGF-β and Wnt signaling pathways.
Altered expression of CREG1 is linked to multiple diseases, including cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and neurodegenerative disorders. In drug development, CREG1 is considered a potential therapeutic target. Some small - molecule compounds are being investigated for their ability to regulate CREG1 function, aiming to develop novel treatments.
The following CREG1 reagents supplied by CUSABIO are manufactured under a strict quality control system. Multiple applications have been validated and solid technical support is offered.
