CXCL9, also known as monokine induced by gamma interferon (MIG), is a CXC chemokine primarily secreted by activated macrophages, endothelial cells, and dendritic cells. It functions as a key chemoattractant for CXCR3-expressing immune cells, including T lymphocytes and natural killer cells, by binding to its cognate receptor CXCR3, thereby mediating immune cell recruitment to inflamed tissues.
CXCL9 participates in Th1-type immune responses and is involved in signaling pathways such as the JAK-STAT pathway, particularly downstream of IFN-γ. Dysregulation of CXCL9 is associated with autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis, as well as infectious diseases and cancer. Its role in immune cell trafficking makes it a potential therapeutic target, with ongoing research exploring CXCL9/CXCR3 inhibitors for inflammatory disorders and modulators for cancer immunotherapy.
Recombinant Human C-X-C motif chemokine 9 (Cxcl9) (CSB-EP006252HU)
Validated Data
(Tris-Glycine gel) Discontinuous SDS-PAGE (reduced) with 5% enrichment gel and 15% separation gel.
CXCL9 Antibody (CSB-PA06189A0Rb)
Validated Data
IHC image of CSB-PA06189A0Rb diluted at 1:100 and staining in paraffin-embedded human colon cancer performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a biotinylated secondary antibody and visualized using an HRP conjugated SP system.
